I really like these Birkis now that I am used to them. The strap across the toe is a lot higher than a traditional birk and at first I thought it looked goofy, they are also slightly wider. Even so, once I got used to the new look they've become one of my favorite shoe! Yes they are plastic and less padded. but still VERY comfortable. Deffinitally worth the cost.
