Customer Reviews: LOVE THE EGG YOLK YELLOW COLOR July 23, 2010 dnomad My daughter who is turning 3 have been using the tuvalu sandals and it did cause some blister on the side of her feet(by the arch)in the beginning but what i did was i just rested her feet from wearing the sandals for a day or and made sure i pressed on the blister right on when it was starting to form and sprayed neosporin and soaked her in a warm bath and made sure i sprayed neosporin again after bath and moisturized her feet really well.
She loves the bright yellow and the black stripes and she knows how to take it off-it was easy peasy! I got her a size bigger just so I can stock up while its cheap! ;D
I've been using Birkenstock-Birkis-Papillio for 2 decades now and i can say that all the sandals from this brands will make your soles/sides/heel or even skin (especially for leather strap without cushions) hurt or feel sore but after 2-4 uses it will be your most comfortable and Go-to sandals. Also please note that it is because the sandals is "molding" into the arch and shape of your feet--I am a flatfooted person and so is my husband and our daughter too. Please note too that the soles also get kinda dirty looking and develop a funny smell in the long run because of your feet's sweat.
